Named after the celebrated Victorian beauty and mistress of the Prince of Wales, Lillie Langtry, the restaurant continues to offer food fit for a king, in the intimate surroundings of the candle-lit dining room, or the elegant conservatory, where you can watch the summer sun set over the deer park as you dine.
As it would have been in Gunton Hall's Victorian heyday, the emphasis is very much on fresh, locally sourced produce - fish, lobster, crab and mussels from the nearby coast, and game, in season, from the neighbouring estates, including, of course venison.
We have an excellent restaurant menu to suit all tastes and our ever-popular seasonal menu at lunch time, exceptional value, but without compromising the quality which has resulted in the award of two AA Rosettes.
The Langtry also offers an excellent wine list, expertly selected to combine French classics with the best New World vintages.
